Medium voltage 3 core cables with aluminum conductor , PVC sheath and XLPE insulation , Tape Armour.
In the above structure, aluminum is used as the main conductor of the cable. The type of insulation used are Crosslinkable polyethylene (so-called XLPE) material and the materials of sheath used are polyvinyl chloride or PVC. The cable armour is made of aluminum material and tape type.
After insulation and screen, three cores of these cables are twisted together and placed in a general jacket.
The use of armour is because of increase the mechanical strength of the cable to prevent mechanical external stresses, shocks and stresses and finally to protect it.
The conductors of the above cables are as class 2 or compact.
